appearance;;Sam is a gorgeous, lean, tiny little woman. She's 5'4" and only 120 pounds. She has tan skin and long, sexy legs. Her eyes are pale blue and her hair is dark brown and long. It's silky soft to the touch and flows down her back. You will usually find this beautiful woman in jeans and a tank top, or occasionally one of Will's shirts. She never wears anything but sneakers unless it's a formal event where she will then, of course, wear heels. Her hair is also usually in a pony tail or a braid. On her left wrist, she has a celtic heart tattoo. On her right wrist are her husband's name and her children's names in Chinese symbols. Her right shoulder has a feather tattoo with birds emerging from it, and on her left ankle is a gemini tattoo, since that is her zodiak sign.

personality;;Sam is a gentle woman. She is caring and kind, and such a wonderful friend. She loves to be with her family and enjoys being with her husband even more. She enjoys sketching and playing with her son Adam. She will play games with him when she isn't working and keep him entertained. When she's not working or playing games with Adam, she's playing with Will. She'll often sit on him, or if he's laying down, she'll sit on his belly or his butt or back.
Aside from that, Sam is also very protective of her family. To mess with her family is to mess with her. And you don't want to mess with an angry Sam. She's almost as dangerous as an angry William. She's like a rabid grizzly. Sam doesn't take shit from anyone. She'll get in your face and tell you exactly what she thinks. It is not a rare occurrence that Will may have to hold her back sometimes.

history;;Sam's life has been easy going from the start. Sort of. She was born in Allen, Kansas. A small town only one hundred fifty people. She lived with her mother and her younger brother, her father being in the US Military. She grew up on a ranch just outside of Allen and her family had a small herd of ten horses. Sam loved horses from the moment she saw the large creatures when she was five years old. Her mother would take her on rides around the ranch and on nearby trails, leaving Michael with a baby sitter. Every now and again, her father would come home. Sam was always so happy to see him, but most of the time he'd ignore her. Especially when mom walked out on them, leaving Sam with her brother and dad. Just them.
Sam would always try to please her dad, but none of it seemed to be enough for him to acknowledge her. She always did as she was told, helped him clean and cook. But it was never enough. She soon grew to resent her dad, and started to ignore him as well. But of course, he father preferred that to be a one-way street and began to grow annoyed with Sam. He would often talk to her, but she'd purposely give him short answers that usually killed most conversations. But her father was stubborn, and soon grew tired of her "unfair attitude". One day, it went too far, and he struck the fourteen year old. He yelled at her, telling her she needed to learn respect. "Respect isn't just given! It's earned!" She screamed back at him, and again she was hit for yelling at her father. But Sam always had that flame in her. She fought back.
Big mistake.
Her father took no shame in smacking the girl to the ground. Her mistake was that she kept getting back up. Samantha Leah Williams was not a coward. She was a fighter. But every time she got up, she only got knocked down again. Her dad even turned it into a game. For him. Poor Sam just refused to accept defeat. But finally, she did. Sam accepted defeat and did what her dad wanted to. She even had to be her father's foot rest whenever he watched the history channel about wars like the Civil War, and the Revolutionary, and the World Wars. She hated it. She hated life. But most of all, she hated Rodger Lee Williams. Some good came out of it though. Sam would watch the shows while playing footrest for her dad, and she came to a decision. She wanted to be a nurse. To help the soldiers.
When she was sixteen, her dad came home more drunk than usual. And things went from bad, to worse, to even worse. Rodger demanded he get more beers, and not wanting to get hit, she obeyed. That's when it got bad. He kept commenting how much like her mom she looked. Her gut twisted with fear. He touched her hair, saying how beautiful she was. How soft her skin was, and so on. It scared Sam, and she asked if she could go to bed for the night. The man watched her for a long moment before nodding and dismissing the teen to bed. She hurried up the stairs and locked her door, feeling like crying. But she refused. She was stronger than that. He could hit her, make her feel like shit. But he could not break her.
Or so she thought.
She didn't even remember falling asleep, but suddenly she was awake and staring at her door as the lock jiggled, and the door opened slowly. And there he was. Her father stood in the door way, watching her with cold blue eyes. She watched in terror as he stumbled across the room and sat on her bed. "Your so pretty, Leah." Her heart leaped straight to her throat. She wasn't Leah! She wasn't Leah! She was Sam! SAM! But fear kept her quiet. He kept staring at her for a long time, and Sam cowered in the corner, since her bed was at the corner of two walls. And he put his drink down, and grabbed Sam's wrist. He kept rambling abut how much of a failure he was, and kept apologizing, but also kept saying her mother's name, not her name. It was obvious her dad thought she was her mother in his drunken state. It was scaring the hell out of Sam. And then his hands starts to migrate. She was powerless to stop him. She screamed as loud as she could, hoping someone would hear. Though she knew they wouldn't. They lived a mile out of town. There was nobody to save her, because her brother was at a friend's house in town.
She still remembers that as one of the most painful, most terrifying night of her life. The next two years were no better, and when she turned eighteen, Sam fled. She became an army nurse. That's where she met William Bailey. And for once, things seemed to look up for the young girl. He had come in for a sprained wrist. She helped him with her mentor, and sent him on his way. But then he was back the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that. She talked to him every time, and got to know him. Things were definitely looking up. The other nurses often sent him away, telling him to "stop bothering the poor girl", but they began to tolerate Will's presence in the infirmary. They could see the two were falling in love. Sometimes, she would even sneak away to see him. Though always got scolded when she came back. She would just shrug it off and say she went for a walk. The years went by and Will surprised her greatly one day when he asked her to marry her. She didn't hesitate to say yes. She loved him more than anything and anyone. More time passed and they blessed with two sons, Rufus and Adam. She felt honored to have such a perfect family.
When she was thirty-six, she talked to Will. Convinced him to move off-base with the family. They settled into Converse, where she learned the truth after Rufus got bit. He started to change, and Sam got scared. She asked Will all about it, and he told her about the existence of werewolves. At first, she thought he had lost his fucking mind. And even was afraid of both her boys for awhile, spending most her time with Adam. She wouldn't talk to Will for days unless she absolutely had to. But slowly, she accepted it. And asked more and more questions, and he answered them all. She did a lot of her own research, and now helps Rufus as much as she can with being a werewolf, and even doing what she can to protect Will, even if he doesn't know it.
