take me back to your bed I love you so much that it hurts my head. Say, I don't mind you under my skin. I'll let the bad parts in, the bad parts in. TAGGED: william / haze WORDS: 430 As morning light started to filter into the room, Sam's pale blue eyes opened. She yawned and stretched a little, then turned her head to smile at her sleeping William. Even after all these years, she was still surprised he had chosen her, over any girl he could've had. It was her he had picked. She grinned and gently pecked his nose, not wanting to wake him. Carefully, she unwrapped his arms around her and pulled the blankets up to his shoulders. She dared one more kiss and gently pressed her lips to his forehead. Quietly, she went to the kitchen and started the coffee. As she looked at the calendar, she noted something... There were no X's.... "That can't be right..." she muttered and walked over. Looking at previous months on the calendar, she noticed that all squares were X'ed out, except for one line of blank squares that went from four boxes ranging to seven. Yeah, she kept track of this shit. She looked back at the current month's page. None. And it was it was the last week of the month. "The hell...?" She muttered, starting to feel uneasy. That couldn't be right.... could it?
Forgetting about the coffee, she went back to the room, quietly getting some clothes on and her shoes, and even in a rush she had to look go, and added some make up to. And she was out the door. She took her car and went to town, coming back with a pregnancy test. She immediately went to the bathroom and took the test, then waited impatiently. "Please be negative... Please..." She muttered. And then she saw it. A little blue cross..... Positive. Her breath caught in her throat and her heart pounded in her chest. She held the test in her hand as she numbly walked into the living room and sat on the couch, not moving for two hours. Even after that two hours, she remained seated, looking like someone just ninja kicked her in the stomach. What was Will going to say? What would Adam and Rufus think? Tears started to form in her eyes. She was happy to be pregnant again, but... At the same time, she was upset about it. Could they afford another baby? Would she have to get rid of it if they couldn't? She let out a shaky breath. No. Sam would never give up her child. A wave of protectiveness swept over the mother and she put a hand on her belly, still staring at the wall across the room. Still in shock... NOTES: haha, poor sam lol

Today was... a frustrating day. He'd agreed to go out for drinks with some old friends of his; hunting buddies, to be exact. And by and by he started to hate them. Before their werewolf trashing notes were bordering on hilarious, but now they felt pathetic and infuriating. These men were so... so ignorant! It shocked Will to know that he had ever hung out with them. He had laughed at the same jokes. He had made those jokes before, too. And damn it, he had lead these men. That on its own made his stomach churn and his face twist into a grimace. The men soon noticed their leader's discomfort - he was practically glowering at his feet - and nearly dropped their jaws when he snapped at them for a simple joke. A hunter and a werewolf walk into a bar, and the werewolf says... absolutely nothing! Ya think the werewolf would have time to speak!? The howled with laughter - ironically - but Will... he just stewed. What werewolf could they be talking about!? He knew they didn't mean any particular wolf in particular, but Will saw his son.
"And that werewolf did what? Did his buddies kill your asses for being so.. so ignorant!" He turned full circle. "Well, g'luck with that... and fuck all of you!" They stared at him; did he really just do that? Perhaps Will could have done a better job at hiding his feelings, but honestly, he didn't want to. He didn't want to be around these... bastards any longer. The ex-hunter saw his son's face reflected in all their eyes; he was in pain.. terrible pain. Will closed his eyes tightly for a quick moment before rushing out the door. He had to get home. He had to get away from these heartless fools.
As Will drove up the drive way at last, he imagined kissed his wife on the lips, swinging his younger son around, and showing how grateful he was for his family... his alive family, free of silver and weapons. But when he opened up the door.. he saw his wife, sitting on the couch with a look of horror on her face. His. Face. Dropped. "Oh God." His mind immediately flew to Rufus; he'd been shot. He had to have been shot. Will whispered again. "Oh God..." His joints felt weak as he leaned against the wall, heart thudding dully inside his chest. Finally, he gathered up enough courage to speak. "What happened to my son?"

take me back to your bed I love you so much that it hurts my head. Say, I don't mind you under my skin. I'll let the bad parts in, the bad parts in. TAGGED: william / haze WORDS: 430 Sam jumped when Will suddenly appeared and looked up at him. Her blue eyes rested on her husband's face, and then she snapped out of it. Brows furrowed. "Wait... What!? What happened to Rufus?" She got to her feet and stared at Will. "Did something happen to him!?" Her voice a little higher pitched than normal, since she was worried for her baby Rufus. He walked over to Will, blue eyes full of fear. "What's happened to my baby?" Baby.... She glanced down at her stomach for a moment and sighed. No. Rufus was fine... Right? She looked at Will and backed up to the couch, sitting down. She patted the seat beside her. "William, we need to talk." Her voice was quiet, and she stared at her hands for a moment, brows furrowed. She wasn't even sure where to begin.
Her heart was already pounding, and her black hair hid her face well, thankfully. But she finally had to look at Will, a troubled look on her face. How could she tell him she was pregnant again? Would he mad? Happy? Sad? Would he punch a wall again? Dear god she hoped not. She glanced at the hole in the wall to her left and sighed softly, looking at him. "Please sit down, Will." She said softly. When Will sat beside her, Sam crawled into his lap. Butt on one leg and her feet resting on his other leg, she hugged him. "There's something I need to tell you... But... I don't know how..." She said softly, thinking a billion thoughts a second. She took in a deep breath to calm her own nerves. Who knew how the hell Will would react. She looked him in the eye, and spoke. "William.... I.... I think I'm pregnant..." NOTES: haha, poor sam lol

He had never gotten so much relief from his wife's state of distress; so Rufus was okay. She didn't know what he was up to - and Will usually liked to know where his kids were at all times, even if that was practically impossible with Rufus - but at least his eldest son was okay... most likely. Knowing Rufus, he could very well be lying on top of a moving vehicle while singing show tunes. He loved his son... really. He loved his dorky, whore of a son. At least he was okay... ish, okayish. "He's fine, babe." William exhaled and leaned his well structured body against the doorway then ran a hand over his face; he was worn out. "Ruf's fine... I just, you looked nervous and I was thinking about him an- really, he's okay." But if he was okay... what was wrong?
William sat down - his brow furrowing with worry, practically aging him - then looked over at his equally troubled wife. Oh how he wanted to know.. he had to know! Something was wrong and second lieutenant Bailey had to know what it was! He was practically digging his nails into the couch as he worried; Will rarely saw his wife so upset and reserved. It nearly killed him. Even after he sat on the couch - gorgeous wife snuggled close to his chest and resting on his lap - Will could still feel his stomach twisting with nerves; he felt like he was checking the sky for air missiles. But he held her, and he waited.
"Please Sam, just tell me. It'll be okay..." He honestly had no idea what he was talking about, but Will might have said anything if only to hear what was bugging he beloved Samantha. What she said next... he didn't expect. At first, he just laughed - a short, nervous, dismissive laugh. "No... no you aren't." He laughed again then grit his teeth. "You aren't that. Not, yknow?" Will couldn't bring himself to say that word. He'd heard it twice before, and what followed was an... interesting experience, full of diapers, sleepless nights, and some puke on occasion. She couldn't be pregnant.

take me back to your bed I love you so much that it hurts my head. Say, I don't mind you under my skin. I'll let the bad parts in, the bad parts in. TAGGED: william / haze WORDS: 430 Sam felt tars in her eyes, though she wasn't sure if they were happy tears or sad tears. Then he laughed. And said she wasn't. Anger immediately filled the mother and she glared at him. "Am to!" She fired back and stormed off to the bathroom where she left the pregnancy test. She picked it up, and stared at it. The blue cross. The "your pregnant" sign. She sighed softly and carried it back to Will, handing it to him. "William, I am pregnant... We're going to have another baby." She said softly as she sat on his lap once more, grabbing his arms and wrapping them around her. She wanted to feel his embrace, feel his love and affection. But she couldn't help but have that little spark of doubt. He was going to be angry. He was going to hate for being pregnant. Wait... Did that even make sense? She sighed and rested her head against his chest. Will was going to be upset that she was pregnant... Great.
She sighed yet again, closing her eyes and waiting for his angry words and tone, all the while she had her arms around him and her face buried in his neck. He was warm, he was safe. To her, he was home. And she didn't want him to be upset about her being pregnant. Sure, she might have been able to avoid it with birth control, but she didn't feel like this would happen at all. Wait... Was she feeling bad about being pregnant? She furrowed her brows against his warm neck, brushing black hair behind her ears. She started to wonder, as she clung to her husband, whether it'd be another boy. Or if they'd be blessed with a daughter this time. She wanted a daughter to do girl things with. She wanted a baby girl. She smiled at the thought. She always wanted a daughter... NOTES: -snugs them-<3
