Vashti walked around the town for what seemed like hours. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do today, most of the time she was at home, but this time didn't want to stay at the pack house. The woman wore a red dress with red high heels. The blonde walked towards the mall and went inside. She had some money from her mother who had plenty of money to go around. She walked into a shopping center and started walking down isles to see the clothes on hangers. She only wore dresses, and in some classes a coat over it. She stop in the isle with light colored clothes. She never would be caught dead wearing light colors unless it was white and even that one would be rare. Still she loved looking at the dresses for fun. She picked a pink one up and held it in front of her. It was modest, just a color she didn't like wearing. Next she picked up a yellow dress with no sleeves and it stopped above the knees. I can't believe people actuality wear this stuff.
She put it on the pink dress and picked up an orange dress. This one had only one sleeve and it was very short. The dress with no sleeves looked better in her mind. She picked up a white dress that was modest. The sleeves went down to her wrists and the bottom of the dress went passed her knees. It was a lovely dress, but she wasn't one for wearing that color. Maybe if I get mated I'll change my mind and get the dress.[/l] She set it back down on the pile and started walking down the isle again to find some dark color dresses. This is more like it. She thought to herself, grabbing a navy blue dress in her hands and holding it in front of her staring at it. One sleeve and it went passed her knees. Such a lovely color... I hate clothes that aren't modest though... She set it down and picked up a purple dress. The sleeves went down to the wrists, but the dress was to short. Darn... Finding modest clothing was hard these days.

Connie hadn't been able to get past the night she had spent with Jason after telling him of what happened between her and her uncle. She was so giddy with excitement, and her lips kept twitching up into a smile. All they had done was kiss a little bit before she finally managed to fall asleep in his arms on the couch, but still. She had never felt like this before, and realized she had been half in love with Jason since she had first come back to the pack.
Connie was humming as she was walking through the store, trying to find a nice outfit for work. And maybe something pretty to go out in. She paused in her humming, frowning at herself. She'd never wanted anything pretty before... Love was... Odd.
She picked up something she only vaguely saw and knew would work for her job, and moved on to find something nice to wear out. Maybe her and Jason...
She trailed off, catching a familiar scent nearby. Glancing up, Connie spotted the beta, Vashti, looking at some dresses a couple racks over. Connie smiled. She didn't have a lot of time to say hello to Vashti, and there weren't very many females in the pack as it was.
Connie walked over, speaking before she reached her so as not to scare the other woman. "Hey Vashti! Dress shopping?" Connie smiled as she moved to stand next to her, and saw the purple dress she was holding. "That'd show off your legs nicely." She commented, reaching in to the rack and flicking through a few dresses. Finding one she liked, she pulled it out, holding it up to Vashit. It was boldly red, but would suit her pale skin and hair wonderfully. The sleeves weren't too long, but the skirt dipped low in back and fell to roughly the knees in the front, making it look like it would have a bit of a train.
"You should try this one on. You'd look great in it." Connie smiled warmly, shrugging. "I'm good at finding things for other people, but suck at finding my own outfits."

Vashti could smell the scent even though she was looking through the dresses, but she didn't look over to the direction it had been coming from. There really weren't to many females in the pack, it wouldn't be long before her mother died and she would be alone in the world with her pack. When spoken to she looked over at the female who was coming towards her. "Hi Connie." She knew all of the pack member names, she had been there for a long time after all. She nodded her head to the other female's question about dress shopping. It seemed Connie was here for clothes too, some might call it fun, Vashti would call it a pain in the butt. It was nice having somebody to talk to, she didn't talk to any of the boys in the pack or any other females that might be in there. She just watched over the pack and did what Jason wanted her to do. She made sure the rules were enforced and handle them if they weren't.
If it was that bad of a crime she would take it up with Jason and have him handle it since he was the alpha. She blushed when Connie made her comment about the purple dress showing her legs. She didn't wear that type of clothing because she didn't want to be flirted with, maybe it was because her mom got raped. Her eyes watched Connie as they picked up a red dress. She was already wearing a red dress, sleeves going down to her wrists and the bottom of the dress going down to her knees. She had a lot of dresses that were the same color. "Maybe." She answered, not normally getting those types of clothing. It was still modest though so her options were still open. She looked at the dress and smiled at it, the dress did look nice. Connie had good taste in the type of dresses one would wear. "Or you could try it on." She grinned back at the other female. It would look good on the both of them, not just the one.

Connie was observant, and saw the blush cross Vashti's cheeks when she mentioned the purple dress showing off her legs. She didn't smile, though she wanted to. Apparently the other woman was modest in her dress. Made since, with what she was wearing. It looked good on her though, which is why Connie pulled out the red dress.
But Vashti surprised her by saying she should try it on. Glancing down at it, Connie realized it would look good on her, too. She tilted her head, then smiled. "You sure?" She asked, holding it out between them as if waiting for Vashti to change her mind and grab it. She smiled at her over the dress. She shrugged, and slung it over her arm. If Vashti decided she wanted to try it, she'd hand it over.
A smile twitched onto her lips as she wondered what Jason would think at her wearing the dress. Or any dress. Usually, she wore jeans or dress slacks for work, and a nice top, but rarely ever a dress or skirt. They got caught on things too easily, and in a pack of wolves, clothing tends to get ripped. Easily.
She sighed, shaking her head. "It's hard to have nice things in a pack," She said with mock annoyance. She smiled at Vashti. "The last time I wore a dress, I think Cayden yelled "Holy crap you're a girl!" and in ten minutes I was having to chase one of the wolves and my dress ripped." She rolled her eyes and shrugged. "I rarely wear anything nice anymore."

Vashti noticed that Connie didn't smile, it didn't bother her though. Even though there was a chance her clothes would always get ripped she still wanted to be fully clothed. Can't blame her since her mother had been raped. It seemed her comment had surprised the other werewolf, surprises were sometimes a good thing too. "Yeah I'm sure." She answered Connie back, not taking the dress from the other woman. Her eyes watched as Connie put it over her arm, glad that she didn't set it back down or hand it to her. Meant the other girl would be willing to wear it. She wasn't watching Connie anymore, she picked up a modest navy blue dress and held it up in the air to examine it. Connie spoke and she looked at the other woman and nodded her head. "Yeah I know what you mean. Those boys used to make me shift all the time, now I don't normally have to." Before being beta she would shift into her werewolf form all the time.
This being before Jason became alpha and the packs split up. "Those boys mean well though." She answered Connie back with a small smile. She'd never give up the chance to wear a dress even if it did mean that they would get ripped. When ever she goes on patrol now and thinks she'll have to shift she just ties a backpack around her waist after putting her clothes in them and would shift into her wolf form for patrols. "Why did you have to chase Cayden?" So many things happened in the pack, so she couldn't keep track of them all. Jason might not know it, but she still has thoughts about her father and how she wants him dead. Sometimes she wishes he would just show up so that she could kill that bastard. "Are you and Jason?... Dating?" She asked unsure if she really wanted to know the answer to that. She liked the alpha too, but he seemed to have an eye on Connie. It slightly bothered her, but not as much as her father had.

Connie smiled when Vashti said she was sure she didn't want to try the dress on. She had started to really like it herself, and it was in her size. She flicked through a few more dresses, finding an emerald green one much in the style of the red one she'd picked up. She loved the color, but the neckline was low and knew Vashti wouldn't like it. One bad bend, and someone's girls would fall right out of that dress.
"Okay, I may not be completely modest when I dress, but this is too much." She pulled out a vibrant pink dress that was short in the skirt, and had a long neckline. She frowned at it as she showed it to Vashti. "Do people actually wear this? It's barely bigger than a swimming suit."
She shook her head and put it back on the rack. Even the color offended her eyes it was so bright. "People are so odd." She said with a soft laugh as she tugged out a vibrant hunter-orange skirt.
She glanced up at Vashti and grinned. "It wasn't Cayden I was chasing. One of the pack's younger pups. He'd gotten it in his head that I couldn't chase him in a dress and decided to play a game. I disabused him of that notion." She shrugged and laughed. It had been funny. The pup hadn't shifted, being too young to do it at will.
"You should have seen his face. He took off into the woods and I ran after him. I got rid of the dress and it got torn in the process and shifted. He wasn't very amused to be tracked down by a wolf taller than he stood." She grinned, but her voice had dropped so only Vashti could hear her. "He trudged back to the pack house with his head down and sulking."

Vashti couldn't help but feel happy that Connie had showed up. Seemed the other woman was happy herself which would be a good thing. She was to busy looking over some other dresses that she wasn't paying attention to Connie. So hard finding modest clothing.... Such a pain. She was pulled out of her thoughts to hear Connie's voice, speaking to her. She smiled at Connie when she stared at the pretty pink dress. Vashti was more of a dark color girl, when it came to clothing but that didn't mean she didn't find them pretty. Some of the light clothing was mixed with the dark. It didn't matter to much though. She laughed, "I suppose so." She shrugged, maybe those who were into sex a lot wore them. She didn't care she wouldn't wear it ever. Connie put it on the rank and Vashti buried it under the other clothes and continued searching for some good looking dresses. Shopping was so much fun, but also a pain.
She found herself looking at Connie again when she was looking at an orange dress. "Indeed." She agreed and looked at a dark green dress. She held it up in the air to see it was short sleeved and the skirt went down to the ankles. "This one is cute, even though it doesn't go down to the wrist." She was mostly picky but some times she worse short sleeves. Her eyes were looking at the dresses as she listened to Connie explain. She laughed and grinned over at Connie. "I see. You sure showed him." Most of the pack was made up of males, so she assumed the pup was a boy. If a pup was teasing her like that she might have done the same thing. "You know. If you feel like you might rip a dress, bring a pack and shift with them off and put them in there. Saves you the trouble of them ripping. Just don't lose the bag else it ruins the point of bringing one to save the dress in the first place." It was something she did all the time.
"I wish I had seen his face." She must have been on patrol at the time, she couldn't remember anything like that happening. "When did this happen?" She just became beta a few months ago, just after Jason became alpha. She felt slightly bad for the pup but also thrilled. Seeing a child's face after that would have been priceless.
