It had been a month since Alexander ended up here in Converse, a month since Connie had found him alone and almost dead in the forest. There were a few times after he had left her home that they ran into each other, but since that last time, Alex hadn't seen her about much. He kind of wished he did, just to catch up, to show her how much better he was now. Plus, she was the only person he really knew here. Alex was healthier now, much like his old self all those years ago, he had found a job working the bar and though it was minimum wage, he was glad for the money. It fed him and gave him clothes, that was what mattered. He still didn't have the money for a home of his own, but he found an old, abandoned, what looked like a storage shed, a mile or so out of the town, probably used to store farm equipment or something. He hadn't smelt any wolves there so he guessed the place was open for grabs.
It was mid-day, but a bit after noon. He was free until tonight so he figured he'd enjoy the sun. There was still snow, but with his leather jacket and higher body temperature he hardly noticed. He had just gotten a toasted sandwich, which was currently wrapped in tin-foil, and a cup of coffee. Outside he found a secluded bench and brushed off the thin layer of snow with his hand before sitting down, unwrapping his sandwich with quick fingers. He hadn't eating anything yet today so this would hopefully fill him up till after work tonight.
As he took a bite, he looked up to survey the streets, not busy, but there were some people out and about. He chewed thoughtfully as he watched. Perhaps he'd stop by Connie's later... would that be too weird? Well... he could always just hang out in the forest, but then he risked running into other wolves. Speaking of wolves, his form was much better now, of course matching up with his human side. His fur was soft and smooth, he certainly didn't look the slightest bit skinny, but perhaps lean. He had more life, more energy now, and sometimes during the night he'd go for a run far from town. He still was hesitant about being around humans, but with his job now, he had to liven up a bit or else he could run into some trouble with his manager.

theres a thunder in our hearts baby so much hate for the ones we love TAG: ALEXANDER OUTFIT: CLICK ONE LAST THING: HOPE YOU ENJOY. Agenta needed to get out of Converse for a little while. She needed to go do some shopping for the farm, and maybe a little for her personal use. So, she made her way to Whitebridge. The trip wasn't as fast since she was no longer driving her BMW, but now was driving a brand new Toyota Tundra. She loved the truck. It was big, it was beautiful, and it could handle any job she put it to. It was just so hard on gas. That's the only thing she didn't like about it. At all. Agenta walked out of a feed store, back onto the street. She had a young man behind her, carrying one of the fifty pound bags, while she carried another. My truck is just right down the street. Thank you for helping me. she said to the man with a small smile, her green eyes bright in the sunlight. Not a problem, ma'am. He flashed a handsome grin at her, and she only shook her head. Even though he might be a few years older than her, she felt so much more wise than most people around her. It was annoying, but it was just the life she'd lived. There was nothing she could do about it. As Agenta was walking down the sidewalk to her truck, she looked into one of the shops and saw a puppy store. She paused for a second and looked. What would you do with a puppy? You can hardly handle yourself. she thought, but then more thoughts hit her. It'd be good for you. It'd give you something to really be close with. The man helping her broke her from her thoughts by clearing his throat. Oh, sorry. she replied, a light blush coloring her cheeks.
Once the two got the feed bags loaded into the back of her truck, she made her way back towards the puppy store. She hesitated a bit before walking in, but finally forced herself through the doors. As soon as she did, puppies started barking, clawing at the glass, and whining. Agenta stopped to pay attention to some of them, kept walking, and kept looking. Just as she was about to give up, she rounded the corner and saw a beautiful Red Heeler puppy bouncing around in a small pen. Agenta was immediately drawn to the dog. Walking over, she reached her hand down to let him smell it. A grin found its way onto her lips. An associate walked over to her when she noticed that Agenta looked interested. His name is Tex. He's only four months old. she said, smiling. Agenta looked over at her How much are you asking for him? she asked, looking back down at the brown-eyed puppy. Four hundred. He's already had all his vaccinations. All he'd need is to be neutered. she responded. Agenta tilted her head, looking down at the puppy. Alright... I'll take him. Agenta said, turning to the associate with a smile on her lips.
Almost twenty-minutes later, Agenta walked out the door, Tex trotting along beside her. Not wanting to get home just yet, she made her way towards the park in Whitebridge. It was a lovely walk, and it'd be nice to let Tex stretch his legs really well before the ride back to Agenta's estate. It wasn't even fifteen minutes into the walk when Tex took off, the leash slipping through Agenta's fingers. Tex! Get back here! The puppy was heading for a man sitting on a park bench, eating some sort of sandwich. Agenta groaned and tried to run faster to catch the Red Heeler before he reached the man, but she honestly didn't think that was going to happen.

Alex was on the last few bites of his sandwich, oh it was so good. Toasted with a good amount of turkey in it, along with mayo, tomatoes, pickles, and olives, he had some lettuce it it as well and a little bit of mustard for some tang. He hated to see it end so soon but just as he was about ready to devourer the last bite he heard yapping. A dog? It sounded like a puppy. His head lifted to search for the noise only to then focus on a red-brown puppy bouncing along down the street heading right towards him. He could see a woman running behind him in an attempt to catch him. It was a lost cause, humans couldn't outrun dogs, let alone a puppy full of energy.
The puppy reached him, bouncing up along his leg. He chuckled and bent down to pick it up, though mainly just to keep it from wandering off, "Well aren't you just a bundle of joy..." he laughed, setting down his sandwich. He looked up as the woman approached an smiled, "I take he's yours?' he asked, a chuckle still in his tone. He set the puppy back down, but grabbed the leash before standing up. No way would he let this guy go running off. He offered the end of the leash to the woman, "Quite a handful hmm?". Alex supposed he smelled of roasted turkey. Was that a good or a bad thing? Why the puppy ran towards him and not some other place he was unsure, but he had two solid guessing. The fact he had food... or the fact that he was a werewolf...
