Kat had recently heard through hearsay that someone had finally taken the house on the edge of the forest. It was one of the biggest, prettiest houses in the neighbourhood, second only to her own families home (which was technically just outside of the town any way, so she guessed it didn't really count). Her mother had sent her over with a housewarming gift to whomever had taken it, and Kat had jumped at the offer, partly because she was fed up of being indoors but also because she wanted to be nosy and see who was actually living there. Kat pulled up onto the drive, her porsche settling in comfortably in front of the mansion. Climbing out with her cigarette perched between her glossy lips, she strutted up to the door of the house, rapping on it with her perfectly manicured hand, the other holding her families house warming present.

Bored. So very bored. The alpha lounged in the hammock he had in his room, one leg hanging over the side so his boot barely touched the floor. He was rocking himself boredly as he stared at the ceiling with a bottle of whiskey. He took a drink and yawned, wanting to sleep the rest of the winter away. He closed his eyes, wanting to do just that, when he heard a knock on the door. He growled and got up off the hammock. Grumbling, he answered the door. "Just when I was getting-" Then he saw her."Oh you've gotta be fucking kidding me." He muttered as he glared down at KZ.

Kat went to say hello, then stopped mid word when she realized who had opened the door. Her mouth closed, opened, and then closed again. 'Oh for fuck sake' she thought to herself, considering just throwing the present at his head and then strutting back to her Porsche, but thought against it, mostly because of her own safety. As much of a good fighter she was, she knew she couldn't equal Cal, so she bit her tongue. Handing over the housewarming present stiffly, she raised an eyebrow. "My family sent me over to give you this housewarming present" She regarded him for a second, before rolling her eyes. "of course, if I knew it was actually YOU who lived here, I would have taken it for myself"
Inside was a bottle of Skull Vodka, something that didn't retail for cheap at all. However, the $89 price tag was just a tiny drop in the vast ocean that was her families money, so she guessed she could let it slide.

He watched her. She seemed just as shocked and annoyed as he was to see the other. He raised a brow at the gift and lifted it to his nose, taking a suspicious sniff. "Is this some kind of joke?" He asked as he opened it. All irritation was gone. Just like this. "How can you afford this with all the hair spray and nail care you pay for?" He joked lightly, looking at the skull vodka with a grin. He opened the bottle and took a drink, his tastebuds singing happily with the taste of vodka on his tongue. He lowered the bottle with a soft moan. "Good god." He smirked. "Gotta love vodka."

Kat rolled her eyes. "Do you see me laughing?". When Cal's tone changed, she was taken aback slightly, but couldn't help but grin a tiny bit at his attempt of a joke. She smirked, looking down at her nails. "You've gotta keep your tips and toes up to scratch, m'dear." She looked up. "Otherwise they'd look like i'd given a hand job to a chainsaw. Besides, i'm clearly not scraping for money" She nodded over to her Porsche. She wasn't rubbing it in Cal's face or boasting, she was just stating the obvious.
She shoved her hands in to her jumper pocket. She was wearing her school leavers jumper from two years ago; although it wasn't fashionable in the slightest, today she'd opted for something a bit more comfortable. Her makeup was at the bare minimum, with just a trace of mascara decorating her lashes, and some foundation to cover a couple of blemishes on her otherwise perfect face. She nodded at Cal. "Vodka is great" She grinned. "Well, enjoy your present" She said, beginning to turn around to leave. She didn't particularly want to, but she didn't want to outstay her welcome, especially if Cal was the other person. He intrigued her, and she wanted to know more about him; she had always had something for mysterious guys. It wasn't even the fact that she was attracted to him, because she actually wasn't (for once), she just wanted to try and work him out as a person.
