Cayden is actually a pretty complicated guy. He's a nineteen year old werewolf, born and raised in Converse. He lost his mother at the age of seven to hunters, and his dad turned into a douchebag. His brother is hardly around and it makes life pretty rough. He deals with his issues the best he can, and buries what he can't deal with. On the outside, he's fun-loving, if moody, and appears to be the average angsty teenager. Read more HERE.
FRIENDS . FRIENDS . FRIENDS . FRIENDS . FRIENDS Cayden can get along with just about anyone, but he's naturally closer to his packmates. He's genuinely curious about humans, even after living among them all his life, cause he still doesn't understand some of the things they do. Added to that, he really dislikes having to pretend to be human, so if he trusts someone (a lot) he might just tell them what he is so he can be himself and be comfortable around them. But if you're his friend, he's fiercely loyal and he likes to make people laugh even if it's by making himself look like a complete dork.
LOVERS . LOVERS . LOVERS . LOVERS . LOVERS Cayden is currently single and definitely open to relationships. He's a very passionate person (not just physically) and he can love very deeply. However, the amount of time he feels that way is varied and his tastes change with the wind. Don't be surprised to find him in a few love triangles... or octagons.
ENEMIES . ENEMIES . ENEMIES . ENEMIES . ENEMIES Hunters much? I mean, built in enemy. It's great. Anyway, maybe someone could spill the beans and let a hunter know what he is. Or maybe Cayden slips up at some point and reveals himself. Plenty with hunters there, though his main hatred is the hunter who killed his mother. In that case, he'd kill without hesitation. Other enemies might include anyone who threatens the pack, or people who just enjoy pissing him off when he's in a bad mood.

first...Garrett and CaydenOkay so, these two might be interesting. In one way, depending on what you think Garrett's not a bad guy, and given the rare opportunity hasn't a bad sense of humour and is cool to sit back drinking with someone under aged, not to mention he would totally be up to jamming on the guitar with Cayden. On the other hand he's a very glaring threat to the pack and anyone around him, which might not make Cayden the happiest of campers. Coming to blows, the way I see it I think in human form Garrett would have the upperhand, but in wolf form Cayden woudl kick his ass back to the stone age

Cayden and Garrett
Cayden prefers to fight in wolf form anyway because he knows he's stronger that way. Anyway... I think once Garrett gets some answers, these two might just get along. Cayden likes people to just hang out with, especially if they're also wolfies. As long as Garrett is still all twitchy, though, Cayden will be on his guard. The packs splitting caused him to grow up a little bit and he'll do whatever's necessary to protect what's left of his family. That doesn't mean he wouldn't still get along with the guy, just not trust him completely.

bill & cayden -- ! Fun uncle Bill, reporting for duty. xD Even if he's not a real uncle. Either way, these two seemed to get along well. I think they'll have fun together. It's gonna be interesting for him to learn how all the kids have grown up in the last year and a half while he was gone.
jackson & cayden -- ! Cayden's a punkass. End of story, haha. Though, for Jackson to finally learn about werewolves, if you don't want to go with the Sophia thing, Cayden would be another good choice. Cayden's usually the one to blow Jackson's beliefs out of the water anyway. Might as well eventually make it official. xD
jess & cayden -- ! I really like the relationship these two naturally fall into. It's cute how protective Cayden can get of Jess when at the same time all she wants to do is protect him. Like most of the pack kids she sees him like her own son. But she's got this weird trust thing with Cayden. He tends to make her feel safe, and Jess really appreciates that.

Cayden and Bill
Uncle Bill! Such a bad influence on Cayden in some ways, but it's good for him in other ways. I can see them just hanging out and shooting the breeze, talking about dumb stuff and girls. Now that I think about it, Bill really is like an Uncle. Definitely not a father figure, but that older male who has just enough distance to be able to corrupt him. Mwahaha!
Cayden and Jackson
Cayden says he is NOT a punkass. But yeah, Cayden's always up for spilling the beans, though he's a tad bit more controlled than he used to be. If you really want Jackson to be werewolf-aware, then just let me know. Cayden's an obvious possibility and so is Sophia. I just didn't know if you wanted Jackson to know. As soon as you do, hit me up, cause I love causing drama. lol
Cayden and Jess
I absolutely love these two, for all the reasons you mentioned. Cayden was protective before, but since the pack split, he's been a bit smarter about it. He doesn't get out of control with it, which is nice. I'm not sure if he consciously sees Jess in a maternal way, but he's not close to many older females in the pack and I think he subconsciously puts her in the "mom" category. He's more protective of her than he would be of the average pack member. And if Cayden was the one to spill the beans to Jackson, he'd track Jess down and be all like, "Uh, Jess... I might need your gun..." LOL

bill & cayden -- ! Yep, that all sounds about right. I can see Bill giving Cayden the respect of an adult in more serious situations as well. Sure Cay will always be a pup to him, but Bill's from the age where you were a man at 18, so Cayden could probably come to him for just about anything and not get too terribly laughed at.
jackson & cayden -- ! Yeah, we can figure this one out more after I talk to Nicci. Either way, I'm thinking one of your characters is my first choice for making Jackson a little more werewolf aware.
jess & cayden -- ! Sounds like a plan. >3 We should thread/RF these too. 'Nuff said.

Cayden and Bill
I don't know what Cayden would confide in Bill for other than girls, but I like their relationship. *brofist*
Cayden and Jackson
Yay! Cayden is seriously torn. On one hand, he knows he'll get his ass beat for exposing himself to a hunter, but on the other hand, he wants to rub it in Jackson's face that he was right and Jackson was wrong. Whatever way you want to do it, it's up to you.
Cayden and Jess
Yes. That is all.

jackson & cayden -- ! Okay, so I talked to Nicci and Cayden is going to be our lucky winner. xD -pets his poor little head- Nicci pointed out that what it comes down to is essentially "you went after one of my friends who is an experienced wolf" as opposed to "you went after a scared defenseless woman." Cayden is the safer choice. Plus, I think Cayden might be more liable to try and educate Jackson a bit once he knows. And the fact that Cayden is an acquaintance of Jackson's would be more incentive for Jackson to convince Kat to stop hunting.

Joshua & Cayden Our Native American guys simply must stick together! They're both pretty dorky guys (though perhaps Joshua a little more hyper and childish of the two) so they ought to get along okay. The question is whether or not Josh's views about werewolves will bother Cayden, because while Josh is completely against the killing of werewolves, he does think that creatures so close to nature should remain in nature. To put it simply, he thinks werewolves are gifted animals. Now Cayden could try to change his views, but the kid's opinions stem from his spiritual beliefs, which makes them all the more hard to change. I do however, plan for him to someday get bitten.

Cayden and Jackson
That sounds like a good plan. However and whenever you want to do that, just let me know. Cayden's always up for spilling the beans. And once the cat's out of the bag, Cayden would definitely try to educate Jackson. In his mind, if he can get Jackson on his side, then it's more likely to get one more hunter out of the woods.
Cayden and Josh
YES! I think Josh would get into a bit more trouble than Cayden would since he's younger, but Cayden's not opposed to getting into immature trouble. And the Native American kids gotta stick together, despite being from different tribes. I think that when it comes to their religion, they have similar views which gives them just a bit more connection than just friends. It's a way they can relate. *nod* And if you plan on having Collin bite Josh eventually, Cayden will probably be around for parts of it, trying to restrain Collin when he goes ballistic over biting someone. lol

Joshua & Cayden I do believe Collin will bite Josh eventually. We just don't know the exact reason... except for that I'm sure Josh won't exactly beg Collin to bite him. But once he's bitten, Josh is going to want comfort from ALL the people! And as for their everyday relationship, Josh may even drink a little with Cayden. He's not usually the sort to get blackout drunk... that's Ruf's job, but he'll get tipsy. I can also see them having all sorts of debates about Josh's opinions about werewolves.

Cayden and Josh
I can so see them having all the debates! Debates over werewolves, legends, how to tolerate kids (cause that's beyond Cayden), food, music, girls, you name it. Cayden's the type of guy who can actually argue his point without getting all worked up about it... most of the time. Depends on the topic, I guess. I see them interacting almost in a brotherly way, at least until Josh knows Cayden's a werewolf. Then things might get a bit awkward with Josh thinking he's an animal. But after Josh gets bitten, I'm sure they'd fall back into that brotherly relationship again. Also, Cayden's not opposed to drinking with Josh. I wonder who the mature one would be in that situation? Mwahaha!

Josh & Cayden Yay brother relationships! It shall be cute and weird and yay! As for when he finds out Cay is a were, I'm not quite sure how'd that affect their relationship. For the most part, Josh thinks it's okay to interact with Cayden, but he'd probably still lecture Cayden about weres living in the forest and not in an industrial setting. But you're right about things softening again after Josh is bitten. His views are destined to be tugged at a bit.

cayden && mason brotherly love. we talked about how cayden could follow mason around kind of trying to be as cool as him. well, that could easily turn into something a little brotherly. though mason will try to shake cayden at first with the 'you don't wanna be like me' speech, cayden can be persistent and still tag along until mason's like 'well, damn, fine' and starts showing him everythign and becomes a big brother. then mason gets all protective and stuff and blah blah awesome brotherly love happens!!

Cayden and Mason
Cayden's used to being pretty strong and in fights and such, he uses that strength to his advantage. That being said, I think he'd definitely be wary of Mason. He doesn't know how to handle someone who genuinely intimidates him. He'd try playing it cool, of course, but jealousy isn't something he's used to feeling. I think he'd start to mimic Mason without even realizing what he's doing. If Mason called him on it, he'd deny it, reexamine his entire life, then keep doing it. But despite any rough spots, I definitely see them getting along and developing a pretty close relationship. We'll see how it goes! Any thread ideas?
