People I know and care about who have been efected by cancer
- Bob Matthus, role model no. 1, deceased. Bob had one of the worst cancer cases out there, but he was always fighting and was an inspiration for hard work. Then the cancer got to vicous and he passed away.
- Frank H., role Model no. 2, living. frank was cancer free for years and has always been like a second father too me, though i don't really need another seeing as I have a perectly fine and crazy one of my own. He got cancer years ago but then it sprung back up, destroying the false sense of hope for a cancer free life. He may end up dying with this cancer, if not, because of it.
- Aunt Ann and Uncle Michael, close family, living. They had minor thyroid cancer, but the process of surgery interrupted their lives and their children didn't get to see them for about a week, especially hurting my uncles children who where very young.
- Multiple other relatives I can't even name have died or been seriously effected by cancer.
- MY FREAKING MOM. Just recently my mom was tested and proven positive for a low risk thyroid cancer. She has an operation tomorrow, monday december 19th 2011. She gets to spend the days before christmas at home, possibly in pain. This may be her 11th surgery, but it puts a hell of a lot of stress on me and the family.
so yeah my rant >.> I'm pissed at cancer. Not much I can do about it but ask the religous ones among you to pray for her around 2pm Central time as she goes into surgery. Those who are not religious, if you could only think of her then that would mean a lot to me.
with that said, I don't think my time online will be different, but a quick heads up in case it is.
