GENERAL !
- Respect is the number one thing on this site. respect the admins, the members, and the guests accordingly.
- Make sure that you check the face claims before posting your application, including the reserves. If you want a celeb that is already taken, PM the member using it to see if they need a twin. Or pm me, Tara, if the member has not posted for over a month.
- Be sure to tell us when you are going to be away, just so you don't risk getting deleted if we have a spontaneous activity check.
- This site is rated PG - 13 which means it deals with mature themes and coarse language. We suggest that you be at least 13 if you join. In order to stay in compliance with Proboards Terms of Service, we do not allow sexual content, drugs, pornography... you get the idea. So just keep it clean, guys.
- I'll be doing activity checks at least every two months. They will be open for a week. Exempt accounts are those that are new, or if the member has posted an absence notice. ALL others must be accounted for or risk deletion.
- HAVE FUN! after all, that is what we are here for right?
ROLEPLAYING !
[/SIZE][/center]- While we don't have a set word count, we ask that you try to match the person that you're threading with. If they give you a 1000+ post and you can't match that, we understand, but at least give it a shot. We don't want to see a 200 word response to something that's over 600. You can do better than that. Honest.
- Rapid fire (RF) threads should be identified with "RF" somewhere in the title. Do NOT harass other members to post faster in RF threads. Show respect and patience. There is NO word count for RF threads.
- Start off with a maximum of only three characters. If you think that you can handle more than that, PM one of the admins. However, if we think that you are not keeping them all active, than we will ask you to give one up.
- Please, only post with the character that is in the thread that you are posing in. It get's VERY confusing when you use a different character's account. If one of the admins catch this, they will PM you asking you to change it. It's honeslty not that hard to log out and log in again. This goes for posting applications as well. Make a new account, then post.
- That being said, only one character per account, even if they are twins. Seriously, it makes it a lot more confusing for everyone when you try posting multiple characters from one account. Please, just do one character per account, and make us all happy.
- We don't want any Mary Sue's or Gary Stus at this site. Everyone has weaknesses, even the prettiest of people. If I think that your character is acting like either of those, I will send you a link to a test to see if it is. And you must be honest with the results. However, if you would like to check anyways, the test can be found HERE.
- No god-modding please. You can't just say that "She puched him and he fell over and started bleeding" However, you can't just dodge all shots either. That makes you not fun to RP with.
- The in-character chat box (icebox) is for approved characters only unless you have staff permission.
GRAPHICS !
[/SIZE][/center]- Sigs can be no larger than 500x300. Sigs bigger than that can stretch the page and it just makes things look messy. If you exceed the size, you will be asked to change it.
- Avatars can be no larger than 200x300. If you are going to be making your own avatar, please make it this size. It keeps everything neat and pretty. Again, if you exceed the size limit, you will be asked to change it. (The site's current codes allow for larger avatars on some pages, so make sure the actual image size doesn't exceed 200x300. Don't just set the size in the profile because it won't work.)
- In posts and apps, images may not stretch the page which means a maximum of 500px. If they do, you will get a PM and it will be removed by an admin.
- Please credit everyone that you get images from, it is only polite. I don't want anyone at caution or any other graphic resource site coming over here saying that someone didn't credit them. You will get a 50% warning if this happens.
OOC !
[/SIZE][/center]- NO FIGHTING IN THE OOC BOARDS!! If you have a problem with another member, take it to the PMs and contact an admin.
- No IC posting in the OOC boards, unless it is in a game that requires that.
CHATBOXES !
[/SIZE][/center]- Absolutely no drama in the ooc cbox. No advertising and no spam. Remember to show respect and be polite even when you disagree with someone. Just because one member might say something that offends you doesn't mean you need to stoop to their level because that will just get you both in trouble.
- Ic chat is for characters only. Nothing in the "icebox" will be considered canon. No "continuing" plots will be played out here. This will be used as a chat room for our characters. Remember that this feature is a privilege that can be taken away if it's abused.
